RHINELANDER NORTHWOODS LUNCHEON
The Annual MPD Northwoods Luncheon is set for SATURDAY, JUNE 6. The place will be the Northwoods Banquet Center, 1540 West Pueblo Drive in Rhinelander, which is minutes away from where many of you might stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites located at 1958 Navajo Street (See article below).
The doors will open at 11:30AM and we’ll start eating at 1PM. Cost is $23 per person for the all you can eat buffet. ROOM INFORMATION FOR RHINELANDER

What other summer month starts with “J” besides July? That’s right: It’s June and that means it’s time for the annual Northwoods Luncheon/Reunion in Rhinelander organized by Larry & Renee Miszewski and set for Saturday June 6, 2026. Some of us will arrive on Thursday, June 4 and some on Friday, June 5 but no matter which date you choose, I’ve got you covered!
Last year we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites at 1958 Navajo Street in Rhinelander. What makes this location even better is that it’s just minutes away from the luncheon, located at 1540 Pueblo Street. I would like to mention that those of us who stayed there last year really enjoyed the rooms and the price!
The price will remain the same as last year. The rate for Thursday, June 4 will be $94 and the rate for Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6 is $139 per night. The phone number is 715-420-2201 and press Option #2. You must mention you are a member of the MRPA to get this discounted rate I’ve set up.
The hotel opened in December of 2023 and has a lot to offer. What was so much fun last year was members swimming while some members chose to be sitting around the fire pit. This hotel has outstanding rooms, a beautiful pool, hot tub, exercise room and an amazing breakfast area. For some of us arriving on Thursday, June 4, we will certainly be occupying the side patio and perhaps having an adult beverage or two…Imagine that!
VERY IMPORTANT: The cutoff date to reserve your rooms is FRIDAY, MAY 8, 2026.
