Next Meeting- Wednesday May 13

Every day a new scam or fraud pops up and suddenly a really smart individual becomes a victim and loses a big chunk of their hard-earned money. Join us on Wednesday, May 13th at the Todd Post Legion Hall, 92nd and Beloit Road where State of Wisconsin Bureau of Consumer Protection Specialist Bennet Merens will inform us on the very latest scams and frauds out there today. Bennet has been tracking scams and frauds for years and will fill all of us in on how to avoid becoming a victim. From false texts about you not paying a toll or parking or speeding ticket to hidden cameras in hotel rooms to false claims about your internet service provider and some you probably never even thought of. We’re sure to be learning some valuable lessons on how not to get scammed. After the presentation, we’ll have an Italian lunch served up by Chris Dewey of Celtic Cooks Catering and you’re welcome to bring your side dishes and desserts.

This will be the last meeting until September. We will be taking our summer break over June, July and August and will return to the Todd Post on Wednesday, September 9. The Call Box will be combined for June and July and will go out towards the June of June.
