FUZZ FEST FEBRUARY 19th
IN SARASOTA, FLORIDA
While we freeze up north, Sarasota, Florida in February looks to be warm and sunny for the 10th Annual Fuzz Fest, a get-together for MPD’ers who reside in the Sunshine State year-round and for those who spend their winters there. The date is THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 19 at Evie’s Tavern on the Range, 4725 Bee Ridge Road in Sarasota (941-377-9300). This year with FF Founders Fred Haas & Tom Rose battling heath issues, Jim Sanfilippo & Dale Racer have stepped up to the plate to carry on this party which gets going at 11:00AM. Dale says he’ll have nametags and the party isn’t just limited to MPD’ers as retirees from other law enforcement agencies often show up. As in the past, Evie’s great food can be ordered right off the menu and it’s sure to be a great time. If you haven’t made hotel or airline reservations yet, you need to get moving!
